Galaxy Fest takes place at James Weldon Johnson Park, right in the heart of Jacksonville. Bring your blanket, bring your crew, and come ready to explore STEM under the sun.

What to Bring to Galaxy Fest

For Hot Weather:

  • Refillable water bottles (stay hydrated!)

  • Small handheld fans or misting fans

  • Sunscreen & sunglasses

  • Hats or visors for sun protection

To Enjoy the Festival Comfortably:

  • Lawn chairs or picnic blankets

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Snacks (we’ll have food trucks, but feel free to bring your own too!)

Just in Case of Rain:

  • Umbrellas or ponchos

  • Waterproof bags or covers for electronics

  • Quick-dry clothing or a change of clothes for kids

For Early Birds:

  • Your QR code from the confirmation email to claim your free student t-shirt
